- What to look for when inspecting the lifting hardware

- How to determine lifting equipment capacity
- The design factors and how they relate
- Wire rope construction and use
- Chain used in lifting
- The lifting hardware commonly used
- How to use the standard hand signals and radio communication practices
The documentation and tools provided in this course include the “Rigging Handbook” by Jerry Klinke and the Crosby “User Guide for Lifting”.
